A simple and delicious dip. Guacamole is awesome with fresh vegetables, chips, crackers or as a condiment on a sandwich.
2 ripe avocados peeled and pitted
1/4 cup onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 lemon or a whole lime juiced
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste
1/4 cup fresh basil or cilantro (optional)
In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and whip until smooth or to desired texture.
Store in a sealed container in the fridge, however it may brown slightly if kept more than a few hours.
